Jessie J spent the evening of her 23rd birthday performing at the Royal Albert Hall at a special gig for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Singing in front of a sold-out crowd last Sunday, the Essex songstress supported Tinie Tempah, Maverick Sabre and Devlin, who all joined her on stage as a guests. Speaking via Twitter, the ‘Price Tag’ performer apologised for a lack of birthday tweets…

“Sorry I didn’t tweet yesterday (Sunday). Not intentional, just was sooo busy,” she tweeted. “I landed straight to sound-check, met some amazing kids at T.C.T, and then an early night. I’m already on my way to Paris to do Taratata and La Musical…”

The Teenage Cancer Trust offers to fund and build units in NHS hospitals specifically for young people, and have hosted various concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in aid of this.
