Minimalist design isn't what you'd expect to find on a beach in Thailand. The contrast at The Library is uncanny - a bright red pool flanked by red umbrellas and sleek deck chairs pressed up against a lush hodge-podge of Thai vegetation.
The complex 26 cabins scattered amongst gnarled trees and verdant lawns. Each modern, two-story bungalow consists of a suite space on the ground floor and a studio upstairs, complete with ocean view. Interiors at The Library are equipped with iMacs – their design brethren – broadband, and plasma screens. The pure color palette pays off: the old-growth forest and lively beach are admired without distraction.
